*All fees are calculated on one person basis.
*Lesson should be taken between 7:40 AM and 21:00 PM, from Monday to Friday.
*Material fee and dispatched fee (\1,200 per a day) are not included. In case the dispatched fee is more than \1,200, we will ask you the actual fee.
*Cancellation on the appointed day is counted as one lesson, and the fee is not refundable. The fee is carried over when we are informed the cancellation before the appointed day.
Refund policy
Short-term weekly course
- Before enrollment
- If a student wishes to cancel the course before enrollment, the paid registration fee and tuition fee shall be refunded.
- In case of cancellation for personal reasons after issuance / delivery of an invitation letter for visa application by the school, the paid visa application fee and shipping fee (e.g. EMS and DHL) shall not be refunded.
- After enrollment
- If A student who desires to leave the school shall notify the school in the form prescribed by the school. Refund procedure shall commence at the time of the acceptance of the notice. The notice for leaving the school shall be submitted by the Thursday, between business hours (9:00~17:30), immediately preceding the week in which the student desires to leave the school.
- The international student insurance fee shall not be refunded because the insurance has already been taken out.
- The amount to be refunded in the case of cancellation, the following amounts, A or B, whichever is lower shall be taken out as a cancellation charge.
- A) twenty percent (20%) of the remaining tuition fees
- B) cancellation fee fifty thousand yen (50,000 yen) which is regulated by Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
- If there are unpaid fees such as textbook fees, the amount shall be subtracted from the refund.
- The refund amount of the accommodation which the school arranged shall be calculated according to the accommodation’s refund policy.
- Bank charges shall be borne by the student.
Long-term Course
Before arrival in Japan
(1) If a Certificate of Eligibility has not been issued, the paid admission fee shall be refunded.
(2) If the local diplomatic office refuses to issue a visa, the admission fee, tuition fees, educational activity fees, facility maintenance fees and overseas student insurance premium shall be refunded. Note that a document proving that issuance of the visa was refused is required.
(3) In case of withdrawal of enrollment for personal reasons after issuance of a visa by the local diplomatic office and before arrival in Japan, the admission fee (*2), tuition fees, educational activity fees (*3), facility maintenance fees (*4) and overseas student insurance premium shall be refunded.
Note that a document proving that the visa was revoked is required.
(4) The screening fee (*1) shall not be refunded after the screening procedure because it represents the sum of the admission examination fee and the fee for filing an application with the immigration office.
After arrival in Japan
(1) A student who desires to withdraw enrollment after arrival in Japan or to leave the school shall notify the school in the form prescribed by the school. Refund procedure shall commence at the time of the acceptance of the notice. Money shall be refunded by bank transfer. The notice for leaving the school shall be submitted by the month immediately preceding the month in which the student desires to leave the school. (Students shall note that money may not be refunded depending on the number of months that have elapsed in the term.)
(2) The overseas student insurance premium shall not be refunded because the insurance has already been taken out.
(3) Bank charges shall be borne by the student.
[Method for calculating the refund amount after arrival in Japan]
The amount to be refunded in the case of cancellation/refund shall be as set forth below.
A) Cancellation before commencement of the course: sum of the tuition fees, educational activity fees and facility maintenance fees
B) Cancellation after commencement of the course: tuition fees less the sum of the following amounts:
① (received) tuition fees multiplied by the elapsed period of time (*5) divided by the period for which tuition fees have been paid (*6) (any fraction less than ten yen (10 yen) shall be rounded down); and
② out of the sum of tuition fees, educational activity fees and facility maintenance fees, an amount equal to the cancellation fee (which shall be up to fifty thousand yen (50,000 yen)), or the sum of the remaining educational activity fees, the remaining facility maintenance fees and twenty percent (20%) of the remaining tuition fees (any fraction less than ten yen (10 yen) shall be rounded down), whichever is lower.
However, if there is any provision on the calculation of the remaining contract amount in the attachment, such provision shall apply

Private lesson/Semi-Private course
・In principle, tuition fees already paid are non-refundable.
・In the event of cancellation or rescheduling of a lesson, you must contact the office no later than 17:00 on the day before the lesson (Monday to Friday). For casesof advanced notice, the tuition fee for the cancelled lesson will be applied to the next lesson. For cancellations made on the day of the lesson (or after 17:00 on the day before the lesson) the full tuition fee will be charged (no refund).
Requests for cancellation or rescheduling made by e-mail will be deemed accepted when such request is confirmed with the student by the person in charge.
